FIND RIAD ATAY IN THE MEDINA.

"In the very heart of the Medina." You'll find that line on nearly every riad's page — but you deserve more precision. So before you book anywhere in Marrakech, take a moment to check where your riad actually stands: "the heart of the Medina" and the right part of it are two very different things.

Riad Atay sits a few meters from Medersa Ben Youssef — the historic heart that the whole Medina grew around. It's the oldest quarter of the old town, right at the gate of the souks and at the crossroads of every neighborhood that rose up around it. From here: 4 minutes to Place des Épices, and only 8 minutes to Jemaa el-Fna.

  • From the airport: We strongly recommend our airport transfer service to our visitors, in order to take you directly and in peace to the door of our Riad. Our driver will welcome you at the exit of the airport with a sign "Riad Atay". He will drive you directly in a private, air-conditioned van to the gates of the Medina. A "carossa" will take care of your luggage to the Riad for your comfort.

We offer this service for 200 dirhams. To arrange it, we simply need your flight number, airline, and arrival time. We would also need a phone number where our driver can reach you upon your arrival in Morocco, if necessary. For your information, Marrakech airport provides free Wi-Fi access.

  • From another Riad: We can organize carrossa services between Riads, so you don’t have to carry your luggages through the Medina. Please ask your other Riad to call Riad Atay so we can synchronize your arrival.

  • Arriving by taxi or by car: Riad Atay is located in the heart of the Medina, which is a fully pedestrian area. There is, however, a parking area near the Riad, at the entrance of the Medina, where you can leave your vehicle safely parked for the duration of your stay. If you choose to park there, please inform us of your arrival at least 30 minutes in advance so that we can arrange a Carrossa to transport your luggage to the Riad. Once you arrive, please wait directly at the parking. The Carrossa will meet you there and accompany you to the Riad.
